Crystal Rig Wind-farm - nr Dunbar
During July/August of 2004 K2 Specialist Services Ltd became the first rope access technicians to carry out maintenance of these structures in Scotland. Twenty eight Wind Turbines standing over 70mtrs high make Crystal Rig wind-farm the largest in Scotland. Over a period of three weeks K2 Specialist Services Ltd carried out external cleaning to over half of these to remove grease and other contaminants from the outer windshield, propellers and turbine housing.

We have since carried out further maintenance at other wind-farms throughout Scotland .
